Oceanography of the Intra-Americas Sea
Real-Time Observations

Intra-Americas Sea Drifter Tracks. . .
  Sponsored by the
National Oceanographic
Partnership Program (NOPP)

and deployed by the
Global Drifter Center (GDC).
Though the bulk of this IAS drifter array was deployed in 1998 as part of the Year of the Ocean, drifter locations are still updated daily. All files, including those containing drifters that have ceased to operate, show drifter tracks extending to the drifter's last known position. . .

Sea Height Anomaly and Upper Layer Thickness Maps for the Intra-Americas Sea
Physical Oceanography Division, NOAA/AOML. Maps are created from daily near-real time observations of sea height anomalies derived from TOPEX/POSEIDON altimeter, upper layer thickness, sea surface temperature, and upper ocean heat content in the western North Atlantic Ocean.
